Q: Is the function available in hybrid version only the left click of the mouse?

A: aeroTAP Hybrid version offers only simple operations.y defalt, moving cursor and click is available.We also provide several virtual buttons according to your applications.For example,when you run Google Earth.

Q: Can you operate the right click of the mouse?

A: When you operate click(tap) in aeroTAP Hybrid version,it will execute LEFT click.If you need Right click or other specific operations,we can setup virtual buttons.For example, when you tap a virtual button for the mouse will appear and the user will select right for right click or select left for left click.

Q: What kind of gestures can be detected?

A: As a movement,waving your hand to the right or left will be detected.
We also respond to requests of detecting hand gestures,such as right/left/up/down or rotations.

Q: Does the camera only detect one hand?

A: It offers simple operation and the first hand detected will be the operator.Even if other hands are detected,the first hand will still be the operator.

Q: Cursor moves slower than the actual move of the hand.Am I moving too slow?

A: aeroTAP makes special effort in functioning with low CPU resource(comsumption).Tracking real-time shooting games is not supported.aeroTAP tracks the hand moving with a natural speed(about 5-7FPS). If requested,speeding up to 30FPS is possible but CPU usage will increase.

The picture on the right is an information display set near the Tsukuba station of TX(Tsukuba Express) by Public information section of Tsukuba.Itintroduces information about Tsukuba and you can search for the ways to nearby facilities.However,it shows a message saying "Touch the screen to operate" and is rarely moving.

Proposal:

By changing it to aeroTAP device,the image from the camera will detect the presence or non presence of someone and the distance.When the distance is far,the device can show videos and when its closer it will show the ways to operate or what you can do with it.You can easily change it to an interactive device without changing the contents.
